Are you doing this one thing to open yourself to receive more?

Today’s message of letting go, release and trust is definitely something I need to remind myself about over and over again.

In the busy-ness of life we easily get trapped into the old mindset of needing to make it all happen by ourselves, instead of allowing life to move through us and support us in ways that we can’t even begin to imagine.

There is guidance available to us. It knows the next steps, it knows the right timing. All you need to do is allow yourself to open up, relax, dance, sing, enjoy and dare to follow the divine spark of your heart.

Learn from nature. See how everything gets accomplished and how the miracle of life unfolds without struggle or unhappiness. In order to thrive in our lives, I believe we need to surrender and let go again and again and again.

Not an easy thing for most of us 😉

However our demanding lives often make us be so filled with tension, clutter and fear that it’s absolutely necessary to consciously release and let go on a regular basis.

Low energy thoughts like anger, shame, guilt, judgement and fear will weaken us. It’s when we keep our thoughts towards love, gratitude and abundance, that we’re attracting the life we crave and most desire.

In this video I created a short ritual to let go and release, so you can be open to receive all that you want into your life. 

Today I invite you to practice your own version of this letting go ritual and release what no longer serves you in four easy steps:

  1. Take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
  2. Tune in with yourself to find what you want to let go of. This can be a limited belief like ‘I should be further ahead by now’, ‘I’m not good enough yet’ or it can be a physical pain, specific fear or sadness that is present in your life right now.
  3. Find a flower, some leaves or shells and take it in your hand and whisper your ‘thing’ into them. Or take a piece of paper and write it down.
  4. Say: Thank you divine guidance for taking this from me, I trust that everything I need will be given to me today. I am taken care of.’ Then release it either into a stream, the ocean or a fire. (Alternatively flush it down the toilet or burn it in a candle and of course, be cautious when doing this!)

When done with grace and intention you’ll feel lighter, more open to receive new ideas and opportunities, and most of all, greater aliveness, peace and joy!

You can use this mantra as you go about your week:

“Everything I need will be giving to me today. I am taken care of.”

    That really touched my heart. In a quite cold and rainy Holland I could not find the magic this morning. Feeling a little sick these days. Low on energy. Thanks for sharing, I feel lighter now.
